Wilfred Emmanuel
Jones
- is the millionaire
Black
Farmer. If you can get past his dated plumb-like
Lord-of-the-manor accent, Jamaican born Wilfred Emmanuel Jones
could be considered inspirational - well sort of. He arrived in
Britain aged four, left school with no qualifications and did a
short spell in the army. Trevor Phillips once turned him down for
a job as a researcher but to
his credit he persevered against the odds to establish a career at
the BBC as a producer. He moved to the Devon countryside in the
late 90s, where locals referred to him as the 'Black Farmer' a
reference he turned on its head to become an exclusive brand of
produce including sausages and relishes.
He is thought to be moving into politics with the Tory party as
the candidate for the new parliamentary seat of Chippenham in
Wiltshire. |
