BBC CALLS TIME ON SPACEGIRL MARTHA JONES

TOP STORY - TV No sooner had she started to gather a fan base it's all over for Doctor Who sidekick Dr Martha Jones, Freema Agyeman. According to the papers scriptwriters have pulled the plug on the girl destined to become Dr Who's most popular sidekick ever one series in. Was it really written in the stars? Is this another BBC whitewash? Intelligent, sexy and Black, what more could you want from a Black character on British TV? Saturday evenings on the BBC won't be the same. FULLER FORCE ON VERGE OF CAGING £53m MEN

KENT POLICE top dog Chief Constable Michael Fuller must now be in the running to be the next Metropolitan Police Commissioner. Fuller who was very been described as a very hands on chief is heavily involved in community policing and the dramatic £53m cash heist in spring - it happened on his patch. A series of arrests have been made and some £20m has been recovered.
