BBC
CALLS TIME ON SPACEGIRL MARTHA JONES
|
| TOP
STORY - TV No
sooner had she started to gather a fan base it's all over for
Doctor Who sidekick Dr Martha Jones, Freema Agyeman.
According to the papers scriptwriters have pulled the plug
on the girl destined to become Dr Who's most popular
sidekick ever one series in. Was it really written in
the stars? Is this another BBC whitewash? Intelligent, sexy
and Black, what more could you want from a Black character
on British TV? Saturday evenings on the BBC won't be
the same. Thank God the football season is nearly here. |
