GO JOHNNY GO-GO-GO  The Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) boss Crenston Boxhill has denied a SUN newspaper story claiming that Jamaican-born ex- England international John Barnes is the new head coach of the Reggae Boyz. A report in its online edition claiming that Barnes was back in football management as boss of Jamaica's controversial Reggae Boyz". When contacted, Boxhill said that the story was "news" to him.

REID WIN OVER ZIM
Home Secretary John Reid has won the right to deport failed asylum seekers back to Zimbabwe. A judge ruled against a blanket ban on returning failed refugees to tyrant Robert Mugabe's regime
 
FIRE-EATER BURNS EDEN, 6, TO DEATH
A British girl was burned alive when a prop exploded during a fire-eating act at a holiday resort. Eden Galvani-Skeete, six, was engulfed in flames in front of her mum and other tourists. Three other British children and several adults were injured when a fireball shot into the crowd.
 
7,000 FACE A RETURN TO ZIMBABWE
Home Secretary John Reid won the right to deport failed asylum seekers to Zimbabwe. An estimated 7,000 Zimbabwean failed asylum seekers are thought to be in the UK. In the first three months of this year, there were 755 new asylum applications from the African country 
 
 
ZIMBABWE ASYLUM-SEEKERS CAN BE SENT BACK
Thousands of failed Zimbabwean asylum-seekers face being deported home after a landmark ruling yesterday that they are not automatically at risk of persecution there. Failed asylum-seekers who are forcibly removed to Zimbabwe will each receive cash and other assistance amounting to £500 to help them to resettle
 
POLICE CLEARED OVER DEATH IN CUSTODY 
The family of a man who died in custody said yesterday that the acquittal of 10 officers charged over his death was "a travesty of justice". They were speaking after the last six officers facing trial were cleared by a jury. Yesterday's acquittals mean that none of the 10 West Midlands police officers tried over the death of Michael Powell, who died after he was detained outside his mother's home in the Lozells area of Birmingham in 2003, have been convicted
