FREE LESSONS IN SAFE DRIVING FOR ASIAN MEN ONLY
Young Asian men have been offered free lessons to improve their driving, it has emerged.
The classes, which are funded by taxpayers, are designed to cut accidents by teaching road safety.
But critics accused the organisers of racism and sexism because they were not available to girls or white residents. |

CANNABIS DANGER TO EMBRYOS
Women risk losing their babies if they use cannabis when they conceive or early in pregnancy, a study has suggested. Researchers found that THC, the mind-altering ingredient in the drug, can prevent an embryo reaching the womb.
It can cause a miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy, where the baby grows in the fallopian tube. |

LINKED TO RISK OF MISCARRIAGE
Women who smoke cannabis in the early stages of pregnancy could risk miscarriage or an ectopic pregnancy, according to a study. Experiments on mice showed that embryos in females given the drug during pregnancy were more likely to develop abnormally and not make it to the uterus. |
