Hope Powell

HOPE POWELL is one of the few names to have emerged from the England's women's football scene. As player she made her name at Croydon Ladies and played the national team.
She is thought to be one of the few English women to have successfully completed and obtained a full UEFA coaching license. 
As England manager she led the national side to Euro 2005 (where England were host), but the side failed to make it past the group stages of the eight team competition which Germany ultimately won.
